Dr Stephen Philcox is a clinical gastroenterologist who practices in general gastroenterology, pancreatology and interventional endoscopy. He has a special interest in diseases affecting the biliary system and pancreas as well as inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal cancer more generally. Dr Philcox performs advanced endoscopic procedures including endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, luminal stent placement, endoscopic mucosal resection and submucosal dissection. Dr Philcox is also a senior staff specialist at John Hunter Hospital.

Dr Tom Goodsall is a Gastroenterologist and General Physician with special interest and expertise in inflammatory bowel disease as well as irritable bowel syndrome, bowel cancer prevention and general gastroenterology. Tom’s focus is on enhancement of patient experience and shared decision making. Dr Goodsall has recently completed training in intestinal ultrasound, a developing procedure in the management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, is currently undertaking a PhD and remains actively involved in research.
